At the Bank of Trumann, we have a responsibility to safeguard our customers' sensitive information and that security is the cornerstone of providing online service to our customers. We are entrusted to protect customer information, but we also have a need to obtain information required by regulations or sought by us for proper business purposes. Such personal information is also vital to us in providing our customers with quality service. The Bank of Trumann staff members are continually made aware of the obligation we have as employees to keep the business of the Bank and its customers confidential. As we are in daily contact with privileged information about depositors, borrowers, stockholders, directors, officers and other employees, adherence to Bank policy must be utmost in our minds at all times. This dedication to confidentiality is in keeping with our customers' expectations of the highest standards associated with the Bank of Trumann. We understand not only the need to protect sensitive information our customers have entrusted us with but have also created procedures to ensure that we do not fail to meet those expectations. Use, Collection and Retention of Customer Information

At the Bank of Trumann we collect, retain and use information about our customers only where we believe it would be useful (and allowed by law) to administer our business and to provide products, services and other opportunities to our customers.

Maintenance of Accurate Information

We have established procedures to ensure that information is as accurate, current and complete as is practical to enable us to conduct business with you. Although we strive to do things right the first time, we also respond to requests to correct inaccurate information in a timely manner.

Limiting Employee Access to Information

We limit employee access to personally identifiable information to those with a business reason for knowing such information. We have established policies and communicated those policies to our staff so that they will understand the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy. We have in the past and we will continue to enforce employee privacy responsibilities.

Disclosure of Account Information

The Bank of Trumann employees are frequently called upon to provide account information to our customers. Account balance inquiries, telephone transfer requests, written requests, fax requests and requests received via e-mail are a daily part of doing business. However, keeping confidentiality and privacy of our customers in mind at all times, this information is only provided after the customer has properly identified themselves. This identification could be something as simple as verifying a request against a signature card, requesting the amount of the last deposit, or the use of specific identification codes.

Restrictions on the Disclosure of Account Information

The Bank of Trumann does not reveal specific information about customer accounts or other personally identifiable data to unaffiliated third parties for their independent use, except for the exchange of information with reputable information reporting agencies to maximize the accuracy and security of such information or in the performance of bona fide corporate due diligence, unless 1) the information is provided to help complete a customer's initiated transaction; 2) the customer requests it; 3) the disclosure is required by/or allowed by law (i.e. subpoena, investigation of fraudulent activity, etc.); or 4) the customer has been informed about the possibility of such disclosure for marketing or similar purposes through a prior communication and is given the opportunity to decline (i.e. "opt out").

Maintaining Our Customer Privacy in Business Relationships with Third Parties

If personally identifiable customer information is provided to a third party, we insist that the third party adhere to similar privacy principles that provide for keeping such information confidential.
